From its inception this wine had the makings of an absolute classic.
The Lang Vineyards 2018 Rose is a blend of Pinot Noir 90% and Pinot Meunier 10%. All grapes were chosen from Lang’s Estate in Naramata. Over 35 year old vines that were originally brought over from France by Guenther Lang.
This is one of the best vintages in Lang’s history due to ideal weather and climate conditions. Harvested on October 15, 2018 and coming in at 23 °Br. Grapes saw one day’s worth of skin contact during fermentation in fermentation bins, then were gently pressed and aged in stainless steel for eight months.
This wine is fragrant with aromas of strawberry and raspberry and well-balanced acidity. Pairs well with salmon, turkey, and dining alfresco.

Tasting Notes
2018 was a perfect growing year for Rose – warm days and cool nights in the fall. This is a blend of estate grown Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier which gave us great control of balance and flavour.
