This is such a unique aromatic wine with such earthy characteristics derived from an old world fermentation technique known as carbonic maceration; whereas the grapes are fermented for several months with their whole berries still intact on their stems. This allows a normally white wine to ferment with its skins to create this wonderful orange colour. Aromas of dried tobacco, white pepper, and peach tea. You may get flavours of caramel, shaved ginger, hickory, and aged scotch.
