100% Marechal Foch grape, we used a gentler approach to the pressing of the fruit to minimize the attributes of the grape skins. As well, the juice was immediately moved into stainless steel tanks, so there was no soaking skin contact which helped deliver that much lighter ruby color. When you open and pour yourself a glass, take in its bright aromas of cherry and strawberry alongside its subtle hints of rhubarb and sage.
This wine carries a mouth-watering acidity with characteristics of cherry, strawberry and raspberry on the palate. A cool harvest season and a very gentle pressing created this very desirable Foch. It’s light and pretty with a fruit basket of colors.
