This Meritage is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc & 25% Merlot. It was an ideal hot growing season, which created great ripening for perfect phenolic ripeness. Multiple yeast strains were used for a 6 day period along with 5 day skin contact. All varietals were very lightly pressed only.
Pairs well with prime rib and barbeque chicken.
