Spring is always a busy and exciting time of year in wine country, and Lang Vineyards is no exception. This year in particular is shaping up to be a fruitful, tasty, and exciting time. We have new vintages bottling throughout May and we are introducing a new member of the wine family!
We recently bottled and released two fan favourites, the 2018 Farm Reserve Riesling and the 2018 Marechal Foch.
2018 Farm Reserve Riesling
Lang Vineyards signature white wine made with grapes harvested from 35-year old vines. Crafted in a classic Alsatian style, it features refreshing aromas such as pineapple, peach and apricot. On the palate it gives flavours of ripe apple and pear.
2018 Marechal Foch
Our signature red wine with grapes harvested from 55+ year old vines, the oldest on the Naramata Bench. It’s uniquely unoaked and has a rich ruby colour. It also exhibits aromas of figs, leather, dried Italian plums and has a delightfully creamy mouth feel.
Later this month we will also be releasing the brand new, 2018 Lang Rose! This long anticipated Rose wine is a blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes. If you are a fan of our Sparkling Rose then you will LOVE our new Lang Rose. More information about this new release will follow, but be sure to keep an eye out for it at a store near you.
Our May production calendar has us bottling some old favourites as well:
We look forward to seeing you at the winery to taste through our new products and vintages. If Naramata isn’t in your travel sights this year be sure to keep an eye out for us in your local community. We will be attending festivals, and community and liquor store tastings throughout the summer. We look forward to seeing you! If you visit our winery or find us in the community be sure to say HI and grab a picture (tag us online with #LangVinyeards).
