New York Sour Cocktail Recipe
2oz Famous Grouse Scotch
2oz Lang Maple Wine (Red or White)
1oz Lemon Juice
1/2oz Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
For the best results ensure your egg is very fresh! Add your egg white and all ingredients into a tightly sealed shaker and shake vigorously for roughly one minute (or until your arms start to feel it). This “dry shake” will activate all of those lovely egg proteins making a rich and velvety foam. Carefully open the shaker and add a couple cubes of ice. Seal again and shake for another five to 10 seconds to chill the ingredients. Strain into your favourite cocktail glass and enjoy!
